Education and Training:

• Bachelor of Arts- English
• English teacher for 15 years
• Certificate for Administration
• Was a guidance counselor
• Vice Principal for 2 years
• Principal for 13 years
• Administrator for 3 years so far

Job Responsibilities:

• Makes decisions/plans/budgets for both 2 high schools (Hanover Park and Whippany Park)
• Makes the staff/teachers user friendly
• Ensure that teachers grow in a positive way and know the best methods of teaching students so students leave high school with the best education possible
• Open up more classes to students
• Spread the “belief system” – students ‘believe’ they can achieve greatness

Goals for the District:

• Create opportunities for all students (meet high quality academic standards)
• Strengthen collaboration and communication amongst all stakeholders within the Hanover Park Regional High School
• Develop a responsible budget cooperatively with the Business Administrator with input from the Administrative Council that meets the needs of the educational community and district goals
• Provide building and district administrators with training and support to enhance their supervisory practices which, in turn, will impact teacher instruction

Other important Information:

• The hardest problem to overcome: getting people to understand growth
• Least favorite part about the job: making difficult decisions that can impact people’s lives
• Greatest weakness: spend too much time working, too controlling
• Mrs. Grossi would not change her life at all (no regrets)
